Claire | Crafting a Timeless Identity for a Luxury Fashion House

The Brief

Claire came to Kanvux for a luxury fashion brand identity that feels as timeless as the clothes it sells.

The Challenge

Luxury branding lives and dies on restraint. Too much design, and a brand looks try-hard. Too little, and it disappears. Our challenge was to create an identity for Claire that felt quiet, confident, and expensive — without leaning on the obvious cues (gold foil, loud serifs, predictable monograms) that flood the fashion space.

The Result

The final Claire identity is understated by design — a wordmark, a palette, and a photography style that let the product speak first. From an embossed business card to a flagship store interior, every touchpoint reinforces the same quiet confidence.

Why Brand Identity Matters in Luxury Fashion

In fashion, the brand is often the product. A strong identity signals quality before a customer ever touches the fabric — it’s what separates a brand people trust with a premium price tag from one they don’t. For Claire, that meant building an identity disciplined enough to let restraint do the talking.

If your fashion or retail brand needs an identity built for that kind of trust, Kanvux can help — from logo design to complete brand guidelines and retail rollout.

Our Approach

We built the Claire identity around a single idea: silence is luxury. Every decision, from typography to photography direction, was filtered through that lens.

Wordmark:

A refined serif logotype, set with generous spacing to let it breathe — legible at a glance, elegant up close.

Color Palette:

A restrained, mostly monochrome palette, with soft neutrals used sparingly to keep every application feeling premium rather than busy.

Photography Direction:

Editorial-style black and white photography, shot to feel like a fashion film still rather than a product catalogue.

Brand Guidelines:

A complete brand book covering logo usage, spacing, color, and tone of voice, so the identity stays consistent across every touchpoint.

Retail & Packaging:

The identity extended into physical retail — store signage, shopping bags, gift boxes, and embossed stationery — so the brand feels just as considered in person as it does online.

Website:

A minimal, editorial-style website design carrying the same “Silence is Luxury” tone into the digital storefront.
